Me: Just follow these simple login instructions, and you can access your email from anywhere.

Next day, the client called me.

Client: When I got home, I did what you said but it didn’t work.

Me: Was your Internet working? Did Google work?

Client: Internet? I don’t have Internet at home! You never said I needed to have Internet at home - you said it would work from anywhere!

Off to the big smoke to take part in Cover Wars @ Yarnfest tonight at the Queen of Hoxton, 7.30pm. Armed with nerves, a rough idea and some posca pens i’ve got 20 minutes to illustrate at A2 scale…

I’ve learnt posca pens don’t work that great at speed. But when used with love, care and time they can be awesome - like this window illustration for The Lazy Dog in Paris.
